zygo produces theatre in a variety of styles and with an eclectic range of artists.
Zygo creates theatrical story telling for children, adults and family groups – both independently and with Theatre Royal Brighton and Ambassador’s Theatre Group. See the section on The Big Brighton Storybook on our Other Projects’ page
zygo leads workshops and creative play sessions to a wide variety of participants in a wide range of contexts: at the Theatre Royal Brighton as part of the Big Brighton Storybook; at the BAC for theatre professionals wishing to move into directing; at Whitehawk Primary School for family story/drama sessions and at Tumanishivili Theatre, Tbilisi for deaf and hearing artists.
zygo mentors artists. We work with artists of various disciplines locally and nationally. These include:
Ed Harris – emerging writer now with commissions from Radio 4, Radio 7, NYT, Chalkfoot Theatre
Jolie Pierce – artist and animatrix now working with Jonathan Kaye, BAC and Zap Productions
Jan Irvine – Brighton based fine artist. We worked with Jan on voice and energy as well as helping promote and facilitate her work. Jan has exhibited at Theatre Royal Brighton, Blanche House and will have a show of her work in New York this autumn.
SquareMoon – assisting Ed Harris and Mark Thomas in their inception of a new young theatre company of quality in Brighton
zygo provides personal training in voice and energy for people. Current clients include artists, health practitioners, civil servants and businessmen.

The Desire Tree
zygo, in association with Oxford Playhouse and Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, will produce preview performances of this international piece of theatre with actors from the National Theatre, London and Tumanishvilli Theatre, Tbilisi in Georgia in September 2006.
